Encouraging kids to write daily can be challenging, but this app makes journaling fun, creative, and easy. What sets Diary Zapp apart from other journaling apps are the added benefits of the vocabulary boosts and parent oversight, and the optional ability to share journal pages with others. The Zappicon character is a fun little hook.

This is an interactive diary app that encourages young people to document their adventures and their lives in an interactive way whilst improving their communication and literacy skills in the process. It is an excellent app to use during the holiday periods when learning can ‘drop-off’ as it encourages young people to keep a visual and written documentation of their holiday time whilst secretly improving their writing skills. However, this app does not just have to be used in the holiday period as it would work really well as a toy and interactive diary throughout the year. There are also many different features within the app including a sense of challenge where new things become unlocked the more the user plays and uses the app.

DiaryZapp is a fantastic new app that allows students to record their daily actions in a creative and safe digital environment.  The app allows your students to share their work with allocated email addresses. A fantastic safety feature that allows you to control where your students work is going. This also enables you to share your students work in real time with their parents so they can feel apart of their child’s learning process.

‘We absolutely love this app, in my opinion it has brought the dying art of keeping a diary bang up to date in a fun and engaging way for children (and adults!). It also allows them to keep in touch and share their adventures with those they may not see often and for me continuing communication is always a good thing, especially when it’s encouraging and enhancing literacy skills along the way. It is also a fantastic ‘modern’ way for children to store their memories safely to look back on in the future.”

DiaryZapp is aimed at little ones and their families, meaning it’s very colourful and easy to use. The app was designed by a family for other family’s , largely thanks to an idea their son Noah came up with. We have been using the app for nearly two weeks now and I am delighted with it. It’s so easy to use and brightly coloured. My only complaint is that I wish I had had it sooner!

DiaryZapp is an app designed to help your child get creative and record their activities. Whether it be adventures outdoors, literacy homework or the latest arts and craft project, it can be recorded and shared with grown-ups. Created by the Dance family, the app is ideal for those with school age children.

I often get asked to try apps and they either don’t spike my interest or turnout to be hard to use and of low standard but this certainly isn’t the case with Diary Zapp! It will be definitely be staying on my phone ready for school in September!
